Wendy Priscott Psychotherapy
Some people come to counselling with a clear understanding of what they want support with whereas others may feel stuck or overwhelmed by lots of things. Beginning counselling can be extremely daunting, especially if you aren't quite sure what is involved and the changes you wish to make.
I am a calm, compassionate therapist and provide a counselling space where you can be heard and supported to make the changes that are right for you. For many clients having a space that is just for you gives time away from a busy life and maybe for the first time a chance to think about yourself.
I will support you to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours so that you can gain a greater understanding of yourself and explore how you feel, your relationships and your place in the world.
I offer psychotherapy and counselling to adults and teenagers experiencing concerns with issues such as gender, anxiety, stress, family issues, low self esteem, sexuality and relationship issues.
Alongside running my own private practice I am also a volunteer counsellor at the LGBT Foundation in Manchester. I also have many years experience working in the voluntary sector for national youth charities.
If you would like further information on how I can support you please email me to arrange an initial free consultation.
As a member of the BACP I adhere to their code of Ethics. I am also fully insured, have an Enhanced DBS and undertake continuing professional development.
